We enjoy finding out about various dry dog foods and always check out the ingredients and guaranteed analysis panels.

Nulo is a dog food with high protein. High protein is important, especially for active dogs.

One of the biggest pluses of this food is there is no soy, corn, tapioca, potatoes (which is generally used as a filler). Also there is no flaxseed (which, while not bad, is commonly used in dog food, but some dogs can be allergic to it). Does your dog have any food sensitivities?
