This will be a pretty quick post. Our mum’s grandma fell and broke her hip, so she’s now in the hospital. She went in for surgery this evening. Please keep her in your thoughts. Thankfully mum was here, because it happened at 2:30 a.m., and otherwise she would have been by herself with no one to help her. We’re in charge of things around the house and caring for mum.

Quickie update on the contests we posted last week. Terra’s contest ends tomorrow, and we don’t think we got anywhere near first on that one, but that’s ok. We had a lot of fun making the entry anyways, and we appreciate those who took the time to vote-it means a lot to us. And the next time you need help in a voting contest, we’ll be more inclined to help you too.

We’re still waiting to hear back about the contests that Bella was entered in. We’ll post when we know.

Kronos is in the Top 10 of his contest, but he’s trailing behind in 7th place. He is at 493 votes right now, and the leader has 1, 400 votes. Thank you so much everyone who has helped! If you haven’t voted yet, or you have and maybe it’ll let you do it again, could you please click on the photo and take the two seconds to VOTE? We plan to go down fighting and we’d really love to win this one!

Quickie awesome note: Kronos was Dog of the Day on September 20th! We’ll post more about that later.

And finally, Terra and Bella went to the vet today for a check-up. We suspect they both have possible UTIs, and they are now on antibiotics. Terra will get her shots the next time we go in. Bella got bloodwork done, and we are happy to report that she’s looking great otherwise at 9 years old! πŸ™‚ The vets and the technicians gushed about how well behaved we were the whole time and we got tons of compliments.

Terra and Kronos went to the park today and they got to meet some cows. There were lots of kids, birds, and dogs as distractions. They both did stellar in both situations, and Terra was 100% wanting to herd those cows πŸ˜‰ We’ll find her some livestock at some point to work… After about two minutes, Kronos wanted to go over to meet the cows too-he was fascinated by them. The cows just stared at us. πŸ™‚ With the ton of exercise that Kronos is getting, he is so much more relaxed. And he’s also gained a lot of independence being left outside with the other dogs. He’s met horses and cows and he gets to hear dogs bark on a daily basis and sounds of people going about their daily activities. Terra is being very lovely as well. She wrestles with Kronos continuously and they are teaching each other what it means to play appropriately while tiring each other out.

That’s about all we have this week to report. Sniff you around! πŸ™‚
