We were sent a 4 lb. bag of Nutro Wild Frontier to try. Bella was on Nutro as a pup before we switched around. A lot of dog food seems to be switching it up and gearing toward healthier formulas with higher protein, high fat (this is actually good, it’s the carbs, sugar, and fillers which will getcha), and a crude fiber of less than 5%.
Nutro Wild Frontier meets all of those qualifications.
Just make sure you’re reading the ingredient panel carefully to insure a dog food truly is grain free. Some still contain flaxseed which can be an allergen to some dogs.

ARV on Amazon for a 24 lb bag: $51.65
While this size bag won’t last super long for two to three active dogs, we’re looking forward to trying it out and seeing how everyone likes it. If nothing else, it’ll be great for treats!
Chewy was incredible as always with their fast shipping and customer service and good prices. We’re so happy to see them staying similar with their recent acquisition by PetSmart.
