A Not So Wordless Wednesday: Taking the Road Less Traveled

If they respect you, respect them. If they disrespect you, still respect them. Do not allow the actions of others to decrease your manners, because you represent yourself, not others~Anon. <3

As we’re reading and learning, we wanted to share one of the life lessons we found to reflect on and live by: if you react in anger and hold a grudge, it’s akin to taking poison and expecting the other person to die. Ultimately all you are doing is hurting yourself. Slander, belittling, distortion, lashing out, and being vindictive or vengeful ultimately reflects badly on you and your character. If someone goes low, go high, because you’re not benefiting anyone by being like them. Have an attitude of gratitude-even if the situation seems bleak or there are hardships, what are the positives you can glean? No diamond was created without pressure and the right conditions.
